I just heard that a new variety of Sweet Pea will be launched this August... it will be called - The Dusty Springfield!!!! This is a terrific honor. I don't think any other female pop singer has ever had a flower officially named after them before. I for one will be growing a tribute display. Let's all plant some of these brand new flowers and spread the word so that, like Dusty, they can spread beauty and give pleasure to millions of people all around the world.

Dusty's top videos will be shown in an hour long Dusty show on UK Arena on Sky Digital in the UK on February 19th.
DUSTY AT XMAS!!!
Britain's BBC2 will screen a new Dusty documentary at Christmas time this year. It's 'Definitely' called "Definitely Dusty". Running for 60 minutes it was filmed in London and the USA.
It will include archival footage such as Dusty performing her best-loved songs, Dusty being interviewed, and even tap dancing in the park! The BBC of course produced her TV show back in the 60's, hopefully they will include footage not seen since then.
Interviewees singing her praises will include include Elton John, Burt Bacharach, Neil Tennant, Lulu, Martha Reeves, Pat Rhodes, Vicki Wickham, Simon Bell, etc, etc.
No broadcast date has been announced yet. As soon as I get my Christmas 'Radio Times' I'll upload the details!
